RDTW 2026

Running Down the Walls is an annual event that happens in many cities across North America. It is an anti-competitive 5K (run, walk, roll, or just hang out) to raise money for political prisoners. In 2025, BABC had our third RDTW and it was a huge success! We will be back at it the afternoon of September 19th, 2026.

We are asking $20-$40 each again this year, which we’ve previously split between our anarchist prisoner fund and the federation’s warchest, and for which you will get a t-shirt the day of the event! We will also have snacks and water on hand. Registration is open until September 7th.

To register please include your name and contact info, t-shirt size, and whether you prefer advanced (digital) payment or cash the day of in the message box below. If digital, we will email you back with payment options. If you decide to email us instead please put RDTW 2026 in the subject line. Our pgp key is on our contact page for encryption purposes, if you like.

In Debian
  1. Install GnuPG: sudo apt install gpg
  2. Write your message in a text editor and save it as message.txt in any directory
  3. Download the PGP public key and save it as public_key.asc in the directory where you saved the message
  4. Open a terminal in the directory where you saved the message and the public key
  5. Encrypt the message: gpg --encrypt --recipient-file public_key.asc -a --output encrypted_message.txt message.txt
  6. Open encrypted_message.txt in a text editor and copy-paste its contents to the field below
  7. Press the "Send message" button
In Tails
  1. Write your message in a text editor and save it as message.txt in any directory
  2. Download the PGP public key and save it as public_key.asc in the directory where you saved the message
  3. Open a terminal in the directory where you saved the message and the public key
  4. Encrypt the message: gpg --encrypt --recipient-file public_key.asc -a --output encrypted_message.txt message.txt
  5. Open encrypted_message.txt in a text editor and copy-paste its contents to the field below
  6. Press the "Send message" button
